If ever a bio was unnecessary, Brunson would be the man. But here's one anyway. Texas Dolly won the WSOP Championship events in 1976 and 1977 with his famous 'Brunson' hand, T2. 10 WSOP bracelets in all, throw in a WPT title for good measure. Not bad for a man that likes to concentrate on cash games! Regularly seen at the nosebleed games in Las Vegas, Brunson still has the mentality and stamina to compete at the very top of his profession.

One of the legendary Texas Road gamblers, Brunson went on to author Super System, endorse Doyle's' online poker room, not to mention an unlimited number of business activity loosely connected with poker and gaming, some more successful than others. Induction into the Hall of Fame was a given, widely respected and admired, one of the true legends of the game.
