Johnny Chan

Johnny Chan transcends poker with his near iconic status. Indeed, for many people poker IS Johnny Chan.

His appearance in the movie “Rounders” cemented this position as the most famous poker player in the USA.

But, there is plenty of substance behind this fame. He has won an amazing ten bracelets at the WSOP including back to back main event wins in 1987 and ’88. He has won a shed load of other big tournaments down the years.

He consistently plays, and beats, the biggest cash games in the World.

Just watch him play if you ever get the chance. He exudes confidence and discipline. It’s like he knows he’s going to win. And more often than not he does!
