“Fossilman” is quite simply the most famous poker player on the planet.

When he won the 2004 World Series of Poker his place in poker history was assured. But, he has proved himself so much more than a former world champion.

With his amazing attempt to defend his crown (he finished 25th after being among the chip leaders for about 4 days) he proved he is a top notch player.

But, beyond that he is the perfect ambassador for poker. He is friendly, accessible and has virtually boundless patience for signing autographs and answering sometimes banal questions from curious onlookers. He also is poker theorist with his musings often available on the forums of twoplustwo.

All in all, Greg is a great player and a top bloke.
